I can absolutely see this being worn as an engagement ring. these beautiful old settings without prongs are incredibly easy to wear on a daily basis since there aren't prongs to snag on fabrics, etc.

currently a size 7 -- can be sized slightly by your jeweler
the yellow gold filigree setting measures 18mm north to south
the star measures 11mm from east to west
center diamond measures 3mm in diameter and is incredibly full of sparkle.
smaller diamonds measure 2mm
C O N D I T I O N
in good vintage condition some quirks. I believe the star setting and diamonds were added to the filigree ring later, judging from the craftsmanship on visible on the underside of the setting
the filigree is in good condition, there may be a tiny bit of filigree loss in the petal details at the south side of the filigree setting and beneath the star there's a bit of gold filled into what should be a void between filigree vertical bars —I think this was likely from when the star was added. please see enlarged version of photos and ask for additional photos if that would be helpful
